The first thing I did was try to find a design this part took me a little while but I finally found one which is pictured in the first picture. The second thing I did was find my colors that i think fit perfectly. The next thing was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with this which at first I was just going to do boxes. But I had decided to think outside the box and do shirts and do a pattern on each shirt as you can see in the pictures. I had just found 2 or 3 colors and just made a random design on the shirts but the middle shirt is the magazine piece drawing. After i colored all the shirts I had went through and did another layer on them and did the background so it looked better instead of plain.
Alebrijes
I am making a turtle body with giraffe neck and a dog tail. In the new picture i have started making my Alebrijes, I started by making the turtle body, i then went to the feet which are in the turtle shell because you can't really see the turtle's feet. Then I made the neck and the head, the neck was really hard to keep up so it has to lean against something until it can dry. The Tail is the dog tail and was very simple I had to wet the end of it to stick it to the body and it stayed. This week I had just done some touch up's. I had moved the legs out so you could see them and I made the tail a tad bit pointy. I also fixed the ears because they were very fragile. The neck is shorter because I moved it to where it is down towards the end of the body. After it had been fired in the kiln I had started painting it. The first thing I painted was the body which is like a tannish yellow color, after that i had done the neck the head and the tail. I did a striped pattern on the tail and a striped pattern on the body. Then I did polka dots which is kinda hard to see in the picture but i did them on theneck and they are pink. The feet are green and underneath is the same yellow tannish color that is on the body. The ears and nose are pink just for a spontaneous bright color. The head is yellow and there are black eyes.
Close up Drawing
The picture I decided to do for the close up drawing was a butterfly. I had used a pencil. First I drew out the body and the wings. The next thing I started doing was drawing out the details on the wings and the little hairs on the body. After I was done drawing I had shaded and made sure to use value and use the transition from light to dark. Then I had done the leaves and shaded the shadow on the leave.
Self Portraits
So the first thing I did on the self portrait example drawing was drawing the head shape and the eyes and eyebrows. After I had then done the nose and lips and had shaded the nose and eyebrow part. The next day I had done the ears and neck. I then had to do the hair and I had to make sections of the hair and shaded it and made a few highlights. When I was done with it all I had made some shading in the face so it didn't look flat. The parts i had to shade were under the cheekbones, under the lip, I had to shade in the chin and the bottom of it so it looked round, I then had to shade the hairline and the neck. The last picture is my final product I had worked on it for 3 or 4 weeks and had used a 2B, 4H and H pencil. I had started off making the head shape and the eyes, nose, eyebrows, and lashes. After I had done that I then made the lips neck and ears. I had to spend a little time shading the neck and the cheekbones. My three symbols you see in this are, a cow hat because i love cows, vampire teeth cause my favorite show is vampire diaries, the last symbol was the chick-fil-a cup i was originally going to put chick-fil-a on my shirt but it didn't fit so i had made a cup for my last symbol. Another thing that took me a little while was the glasses it took me a few because I had to make sure the were in the right place and didn't look weird on my eyes.

Impressionism Painting
We started to learn all the painting techniques such as Washes, Drips, Sgraffito, Gradiation, Pointillism, etc. My favorite one would probably be Drips or splatters. I have now moved on to my painting, The first thing i did for this was the sky and i used Gradation. The second thing i did was the grass and the mountains I had then moved on to little things, like the sun, birds, trees. after i had finished with the painting i had to go through and do some touch ups i had fixed the trees and made the grass a little lighter so i didn't look really dark.
Dream home Perspective drawing
I started off by doing the downstairs and I just mapped out the walls and where I wanted everything like the kitchen and the bathroom and the living room. After I did that I had put my stairs down to fit where it would look best. After that I started the upstairs by doing the stairs so I can work around that then I put the bedrooms down and went from there. Then I had down the exterior of the house and had drawn the square and the roof and then did the stones to look like a modern day house and i wanted my house a dark blue but only had light so I had to work with it. I had done the garage and the flowers last. I had chosen to color it with color pencil to use Gradation.
